Credit Control Techniques Course Overview: In today's credit crunch environment where CASH IS KING it is important that a company's credit control is effective and can play a very important role in improving cash flow. Attendees will discover and develop competences in the latest best business practices in credit control techniques and the art of negotiation skills to achieve a win win situation within an imaginative and entrepreneurially stimulating ‘learn fest' where the presenter will share real life experiences and “outside the box” techniques for achieving payment from even the die hard non payers. The focus of the day is on understanding the various modes of credit control techniques and learn the art of knowing when to use the appropriate technique. Attendees will also learn how to set targets and measure the improvement and report on it.

 The course will cover the importance of credit control and understanding the psychology for non payment   (positive and negative) and then applying tried and tested credit control techniques to achieve payment. The participants will learn how to use negotiation tactics in applying the techniques to achieve a win win situation including Do's and Don'ts. Participants will be able to learn this via role play.

 

The course content is based upon the course leader's extensive knowledge and experience of heading up an international collections department and also small business collections sometimes using out of the box techniques. The presenter is a qualified Chartered Accountant, FCA and with a very broad range of large and small firm experience and also commercial experience.
